The Department of Material Engineering of the University of Concepción, Chile (www.materiales.udec.cl), invites applicants for a tenure-track position as Associate or Full Professor level, beginning in August 2008. Applicants must hold a PhD degree in materials science and engineering or a closely related field, accompanied by trajectory in teaching, both at under and post graduate level and researching reflected in projects and SCI publications in the area.
