NOVEM 2009 – Call for Papers

Dear Colleague

NOVEM 2009, Noise and Vibration: Emerging Methods will be held at Keble College, Oxford, 5-8 April 2009. The third in the NOVEM series, the conference will bring together researchers working in the areas of noise and vibration.

The Call for Papers is attached, and further information is available at http://www.isvr.soton.ac.uk/novem2009/index.htm.

Abstracts of contributed papers are invited. Please note the deadline for submission of abstracts is 12 October 2008.

As in NOVEM 2005, the conference will centre on various Keynote Forums bringing together key specialists in selected themes, together with invited papers in a limited number of parallel sessions. The Keynote Forums are:

* Vibration and noise modelling
* Source characterisation and virtual noise synthesis
* Materials and systems for noise and vibration control
