6th International Symposium on Turbulence, Heat and Mass Transfer

Authors are invited to submit electronically an extended abstract of 2-4 pages with supporting illustrations as appropriate, to the Symposium Chairmen:

Scope
The 6th Symposium on Turbulence, Heat and Mass Transfer, organized by ICHMT, the International Centre for Heat and Mass Transfer, will again provide an opportunity for scientists and engineers to present recent advances and to discuss current problems, future needs and prospects in the area of heat and mass transfer associated with turbulence. This is the sixth triennial symposium, after Lisbon, Portugal (1994), Delft, The Netherlands (1997), Nagoya, Japan (2000), Antalya, Turkey (2003) and Dubrovnik, Croatia (2006). Major topics and new trends will be introduced through several keynote lectures that will be presented by internationally recognized experts.

Venue
The Symposium will be held from September 14-18, 2009 in the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Rome ‘La Sapienza’ situated in a beautiful renaissance building (former Saint-Peter-in-Chains Monastery) in the heart of ancient Rome only a few hundreds meters from Coliseum, Via Eudossiana 18, 00184 Rome.
