Abstract
This paper presents the preliminary design of a biodiesel pilot plant from waste frying oil, developed as a second stage. Following the methodology structured in three central stages (informational, conceptual and preliminary), a viable alternative solution for the production of biofuel was identified and adapted. The study demonstrates the applicability of the systematic method in the design of plants for processing waste into biodiesel, with potential for implementation on a pilot scale.
