Abstract
This study conducts a comparative analysis between VRF and Multi-Split ventilation systems, focusing on energy efficiency and operational cost. Indicators such as COP, EER, SEER, and cost per kW of heat removed were evaluated, applied to Block 5 of UniBrasil (8,622 m³). The results show that the VRF system offers greater efficiency in high-thermal-load environments, whereas the Multi-Split system is more economically viable in spaces with localized demand. It is concluded that system selection must take into account factors such as thermal sizing, relative humidity, and life-cycle cost.
