Abstract
The objective of this project is to develop a test bench for measuring the efficiency of a thermal electric combustion machine operating with commercial diesel oil. The equipment whose efficiency is to be measured is a stationary engine with a nominal power of 7,0 kVA, which has been purchased as part of this project. Apparatus and procedures will be developed for measuring the fuel consumed and the energy dissipated in electrical loads. The measurement of the consumed fuel, the load bench and the measurement of the power in the loads are products of this project.
