Abstract
The objective of this work is to gain a deeper understanding of the Finite Element Method, with an application to the Timoshenko beam. The study focused on the finite element theory of Timoshenko beams, analyzing its strengths and weaknesses through the comparison of numerical solutions with analytical examples.
