Abstract
Computational modeling has evolved as a prominent tool in identifying nonlinear systems, enabling precise prediction, monitoring and simulation of dynamic systems. Parametric methods have been tested to address the challenge of obtaining models that simulate the flow and pressure of supply networks for optimization techniques and control routine development to enhance the energy and operational efficiency. This study aims to develop a parametric model to conduct operation scenario simulations, allowing for the analysis, design, and implementation of new control algorithms. Utilizing an experimental system at LENHS/UFPB to emulate a real supply system, comprehensive experiments were conducted to build a robust training database with one input variable and two output variables. New operating points were tested for validation. The models were evaluated and compared using performance criteria such as RMSE, NRMSE, FPE, and percentage of fit, approaching 95%. The proposed models suited the problem's needs and provided adequate support for the development of an autoregressive controller, enabling pressure control and increased energy efficiency of the supply system.
