Abstract
Over time concepts of Engineering and Mathematics were adapted to permeate interdisciplinary fields of research, for example bioengineering. In this sense, one can find evidence of chaotic dynamics through the stability of the system, through the exponents of Lyapunov, such behavior of chaos is biologically related to an individual subject to epileptic or convulsive crisis. Applying this theory in this work, the model that represents the behaviors observed in biological neurons is theorized through the Hindmarsh-Rose neuronal system. Therefore, this work contributes as an alternative to develop other technological aspects applied to the prophylaxis and treatment of epileptic attacks, since the results show a control of this behavior.
