Abstract
This work is based on experiments to choose, among different alternatives, the best strategy for the measurement of geometric entities placed on a standards test device designed for applications in coordinate measuring machines (CMMs). After surveying the associated uncertainties, it was possible to indicate similarity in the measurement results, where the advantage obtained by the strategies developed and executed in this work appears in the execution time, since the predetermined strategy was designed to work in different technology CMMs used in this experiment. It was also possible to detect an anomaly of the measurement system by comparing the most significant errors and to which device components they were associated.
