THIS PAPER DESCRIBES A METHOD FOR THE ESTIMATION OF UNCERTAINTY IN MEASUREMENTS OF A TEST AT THE SUBSONIC WIND TUNNEL TA-2 AT THE AEROSPACE TECHNICAL CENTER - CTA, BRAZIL. THE METHODOLOY EMPLOYED IS THAT RECOMMENDED BY THE INTERNATIONAL METROLOGICAL ORGANIZATIONS. THE CALIBRATION PROCEDURE OF THE MULTI-COMPONENT BALANCE WHICH EMPLOYS MULTIVARIATE REGRESSION IS PRESENTED. THE STANDARD UMCERTAINTY COMPONENTS RESULTING FROM THE CURVE FIT, ARE LATER USED TO ESTIMATE THE UNCERTAINTY IN FORCES AND MOMENTS ACTING ON THE MODEL WHICH IS BEING SUBMITTED TO THE AERODYNAMIC TEST. A COMPARISON IS MADE HERE BETWEEN THE METHOD PROPOSED AND THAT IN USE IN TA-2. |
