IN THIS WORK THE THERMODYNAMIC DIAGRAMS EH X PH WERE DETERMINED CONSIDERING THE STAINLESS STEEL AS AN IDEAL SOLID SOLUTION IN AQUEOUS MEDIUM. FROM THESE DATA THE SOLUBILITY DIAGRAM WITH RESPECT OF PH WERE CONSTRUCTED FOR THE MAIN PHASES PRESENT ON FILM FOR 25 AND 120°C. FURTHERMORE, THE GIBBS FREE ENERGY OF THE METALLIC ALLOY AS A REGULAR SOLID SOLUTION WERE CALCULATED. SOME QUESTIONS CONCERNING THE BASIC MECHANISM OF STRESS CORROSION CRACKING AND THE INTRINSIC CHARACTERISTIC OF FILMS ARE DISCUSSED. |
