THE PRESENT ARTICLE PRESENTS A METHOD TO EVALUATE, IN FIELD, THE ENERGY EFFICIENCY RATE OF RESIDENTIAL AIR CONDITIONERS. CURRENTLY, THIS DATA IS OBTAINED IN CALORIMETERS, IN CONTROLLED CONDITIONS AND THERE IS NO DATA FOR SYSTEMS IN REAL CONDITIONS OF FUNCTIONING. TO OBTAIN THE EER (ENERGY EFFICIENCY RATE IN BTU/H / W), WE DEVELOPED A SPECIFIC METHODOLOGY, ONCE THE CALORIMETER CONDITIONS CANNOT BE TAKEN TO FIELD.
KEYWORDS : AIR CONDITIONING, ENERGY RESOURCE, THERMAL COMFORT, ENERGY EFFICIENCY, EER. |
