THIS WORK INTENDED TO STUDY THE INFLUENCE OF CURRENT FLUX CORED ARC WELDING ON THE WELD METAL DIFFUSIVE HYDROGEN LEVEL. THE LEVEL OF DIFFUSIVE HYDROGEN WAS DETERMINED EXPERIMENTALLY IN SEVERAL SPECIMENS BY GAS CHROMATOGRAPHY METHOD. AN ANALYSIS OF THE RESULTS ALLOWED TO CONCLUDE THAT THE CURRENT HAS LINEAR INFLUENCE ON THE HYDROGEN LEVEL. FOR THE TESTS, THE VARIATION OF THE HYDROGEN LEVEL WITH THE CURRENT HAPPENED IN A RATE OF APPROXIMATELY 70%, OR, TO EACH INCREASE OF 100% IN THE CURRENT, AN INCREASE OF 70% IN THE HYDROGEN DIFFUSIVE LEVEL OCCUR. |
