O
principal objetivo deste trabalho é analisar o panorama atual das indústrias
de fundição de alumínio fornecedoras da cadeia automotiva, no que diz
respeito a sistemas de gestão da qualidade. Para tanto, foram pesquisadas
empresas consideradas benchmarking no mercado com o intuito de se traçar um
paralelo entre seus Programas de Qualidade, procurando-se detectar o que há
de comum entre os vários programas e o que existe de diverso. Estes dados
foram interpretados à luz do desempenho empresarial de cada organização
através do uso de técnicas de estudo de caso qualitativo, na busca por
soluções comuns a elas. Foram levantados alguns aspectos que podem servir
de base para a implementação de Programas de Qualidade em empresas
similares. Os resultados obtidos comprovam que a gestão da qualidade tem se
tornado fundamental para a competitividade das empresas.

The
main aim of this article is to analyse the current panorama of the aluminium
foundry industry, vendors of automotive sector, in what says respect to
systems of administration of quality. Therefore, were researched
companies considered benchmarking in the market with the intention of
tracing a parallel among your Programs of Quality, trying to detect what
there is of common among the several programs and the one that it exists of
several. These data were interpreted to the light of the managerial acting
of each organization through the use of techniques of study of qualitative
case, in the search for solutions common to them. They were lifted up some
aspects that can serve as base for the implementation of Programs of Quality
in similar companies. The obtained results check that the administration of
the quality has if turned fundamental for the competitiveness of the
companies.
