Desiccant cooling systems are very attractive as far as the environment protection is concerned by utilizing only water as working fluid. The work presents an open cycle desiccant air conditioning system for moist climate including the simultaneous procedures of adsorption and regeneration cycles. The air device consisted of adsorbent rotors, sensible heat exchangers wheels, evaporative coolers with water spray, air ventilators and other components. The adsorbent rotor regeneration can be performed by the utilization of waste heat, solar energy, natural gas and cogeneration heat. The components are simple and the maintenance is easy. The present work shows studies of a system for operation in high humidity climate. Herein is presented a configuration with two dehumidifiers rotors to achieve ideal thermic comfort environment. Keywords. Adsorption, desiccant rotor, silica-gel, refrigeration.
