Abstract. This work refers to the study of the rheological and physical-chemistries characteristics of an oil obtained by application of LTC (Low Temperature Conversion) process in batch-scale mode in industrial solid residue that was generated in wastewater treatment station of a petrochemical industry. Rheological parameters were analyzed in the Rheostress RS50 rotation rheometer manufactured by HAAKE and preliminary results indicated a Newtonian comportment of the oil. The physical-chemistries characterization indicated the possibility to classify it as a Fuel Oil. The study also will aid in the evaluation of the application of the oil in motors objectifying generation of electric energy.
