On the basis of experimental results a mathematical model for the non-stationary plasma with cylindrical symmetry was proposed. In this model the plasma is stationary in the space, but each point of the torch participates simultaneously in two types of temporal pulsations: a) random oscillations following a Gaussian distribution and b) harmonic oscillation. In this model the distribution functions of the oscillations were found and radial intensities and temperature for the torch ICP (Inductively Coupled Shapes) were calculated. The calculations were done for both the stationary and non-stationary cases. The effect of the pulsations in the temperature was studied for different standard deviation values and amplitude of the temperature oscillations. The calculations were made for the spectral line Ar I 435.8 nm. The results show that the pulsations can affect the experimental measurements. Keywords. Harmonic and random pulsations, model of the non-stationary ICP plasma, temperature.
