This paper presents numerical simulations of incomprensible turbulent free-surface fluid flow problems. The methodology employed to solve the Reynolds averaged navier-stokes equations and k-e turbulence euqations is a extension of GENSMAC: a finite-difference marker-and-cell technique for the numerical solution of incomprensible free-surface flows using a velocity-pressure formulation. The numerical solution solution is applied to a turbulent boundary-layer on a flat plate and a jet impinging onto a flat surface. Keywords. turbulent fluid flow, Reynolds averaged navier-stokes, Free-surface fluid flows, finite-difference formulation, k-e turbulence model.
