NOW, THE UNINTERESTING HYDROELECTRIC USES CAN OBTAIN A REASONABLE FINANCIAL RETURN UNDER THIS NEW SIGHT.
THE RIVER CAN RECEIVE A LARGER NUMBER OF POWER PLANTS IN CASCADE, GETTING A BEST SETTING OF FLOW, ALTHOUGH THE OPERATION OF THEM MAY BECOME MORE DIFFICULTY. SO IT’S IMPORTANT TO MAKE AN OPERATION PLAN FOR THE CASCADE IN ORDER TO OPTIMIZE THE SYSTEM CONSIDERING THE BENEFITS AND THE COSTS OF THIS OPERATION PLAN. IT’S PRESENTED A METHODOLOGY TO STUDY THE PLANTS OPERATING IN CASCADE IN ORDER TO OPTIMIZE THE COST-BENEFIT RELATION. THEN, IT’S PRESENTED A STUDY WHERE IS DISCUSSED THE RESULTS OF THIS METHODOLOGY.
