THERE IS PRACTICALLY NO ROOM FOR INNOVATION ON EXISTING VIBRATION PASSIVE CONTROL AND NOWADAYS THE IMPROVEMENT IN THE ACTING OF NEW EQUIPMENT, SUCH AS, VEHICULAR, AERONAUTICS AND SPACE FIELDS ARE LARGELY DEPENDENT ON THE ACTIVE CONTROL OF VIBRATIONS AND NOISES. ONE OF THE MOST POPULAR MATERIALS, IN THAT CONTROL TYPE, ARE THE PIEZOELECTRIC MATERIALS. IN THAT NEW FOCUS, THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE STRUCTURES MODELS, WHICH ALLOWS TO ANALYZE, IN DETAILS, THE STATIC AND DYNAMIC BEHAVIOR OF THESES STRUCTURES WITH PIEZOELECTRIC ELEMENTS INCORPORATED ON IT. THEREFORE, THE DEVELOPED MODELS ARE OF FUNDAMENTAL IMPORTANCE IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF THAT TECHNOLOGY. OUR OBJECTIVES ARE TO PRESENT THE METHODOLOGY OF THE MODELLING OF STRUCTURES OF THE BEAM TYPE, WITH PIEZOELECTRIC ELEMENTS INCORPORATED AND MODELED THROUGH F.E.M., AND TO IMPLEMENT THE NUMERIC AND EXPERIMENTAL SIMULATION OF THE ACTIVE CONTROL OF VIBRATIONS. EXPERIMENTAL PROCEDURES ARE CONDUCTED TO IDENTIFY THE STATES MODEL OF THE STRUCTURE AND TO VALIDATE THE DEVELOPED NUMERICAL MODEL.
