ABSTRACT: THE STUDY OF THE VIBRATORY BEHAVIOUR OF HYDROGENERATORS HAS BEEN INCREASED DUE TO TREND OF A GRADUAL AUTOMATION OF THE HYDROELECTRIC POWER PLANT AIMING AT REDUCTION OF PEOPLE WORKING INTO THE PROCESS OF PRODUCTION OF ENERGY. THIS MEANS TO KNOW THE CURRENT DYNAMIC PARAMETERS OF THE EQUIPMENT IN ORDER TO IMPLEMENT RELIABLE AND SAFETY TECHNIQUES OF CONTROL AND MONITORING OF THEIR OPERATION CONDITIONS. VIBRATION MONITORING HAS BEEN SHOWN AS ONE OF THE MORE ADEQUATE TECHNIQUE TO BE USED INTO THIS KIND MACHINES. THIS WORK PRESENTS THE MONITORING OF THE VIBRATORY BEHAVIOUR OF THE HYDROGENERATORS OF THE UHE-ILHA SOLTEIRA/CESP POWER PLANT DEVELOPED IN LAST THREE YEARS IN ORDER TO EVALUATE THE DETERIORATION OF THE MACHINES DUE TO THE USE. ADDITIONALLY, IT PRESENTS THE VARIATIONS OF THE VIBRATORY BEHAVIOUR OF A MACHINE AFTER A GENERAL MAINTENANCE OF ITS COMPONENTS.
