SUMMARY. THIS PAPER REPORTS A NUMERICAL RESULT OF SOME ASPECTS OF THE ENTROPY GENERATION OF THE AXIALLY FED RADIAL FLOW BETWEEN PARALLEL DISKS OF ONE UNSTEADY FLOW ON A SITUATION IN WHICH THE FRONTAL DISK CAN MOVE. THE PROBLEM IS SOLVED COUPLING THE FLUID FLOW MODELING AND THE VALVE DYNAMICS MOVEMENT. THE FLUID (AIR) IS ASSUMED TO HAVE A NEWTONIAN BEHAVIOUR. THE FLOW IS INCOMPRESSIBLE, LAMINAR AND ISOTHERMAL IN AN AXISYMMETRIC GEOMETRY. THE GOVERNING EQUATIONS ARE SOLVED BY FINITE VOLUME METHODOLOGY. THE FLOW CHARACTERISTICS PRESENTED HEREIN RELATE THE SITUATION WHERE IT WAS PRESCRIBED PERIODIC MASS FLUX AT THE INLET ORIFICE. IT IS SHOWN HOW THE ENTROPY PRODUCED BY THE VISCOUS DISSIPATION IS AFFECTED BY THE FLUID FLOW.
