Summary :

THE RELATIONS AMONG STUDENTS, TEACHERS AND THE SUPPOSEDLY TEACHED CONTENTS HAVE BEEN DETERMINED BY THE WAY STUDENTS HAVE BEEN EVALUATED. IN GENERAL, STUDENTS ARE EVALUATED BY A FEW NUMBERS OF INSTRUMENTS: EXAMS AND LABORATORIES REPORTS. THIS KIND OF EVALUATION LEADS STUDENTS TO MEMORIZE STANDARD SOLUTIONS TO COMMON EXERCISES WHICH ARE NOT CONNECTED TO THE REAL SITUATIONS THAT THEY WILL FACE IN THEIR PROFESSIONAL LIFE. THAT’S WHY THINGS LIKE COPIES OF REPORTS AND STUDENTS CHEATING DURING THEIR EXAMS ARE GETTING USUAL. THUS, INSTRUMENTS OF EVALUATION SHOULD BE DIVERSIFIED AND APPLIED MORE CONSTANTLY, SO THAT TEACHERS COULD FOLLOW THE STUDENTS’ DEVELOPMENT AND MAKE DECISION ON HOW TEACHING ACTIVITIES SHOULD BE REORIENTED.
