INFLUENCE OF METALICS INCLUSIONS ON THE STEELS MACHINABILITY UNDER HIGH CUTTING SPEEDS (VC > 100 M/MIN) IN TURNING TESTS..
Summary :
HISTORICALLY THE INCREASE OF THE PRODUCTIVITY IN THE MACHINING HAS BEEN OBTAINED BY MEANS OF: THE A) INCREASE OF THE POTENCY OF THE EQUIPMENT, B) EMPLOYMENT OF TOOLS THAT THEY PROPITIATE LARGER RESISTANCE TO THE MACHINIG SOLICITATIONS, C) IMPROVEMENT MACHINING PARAMETERS AND D) DEVELOPMENT OF STEELS OF BETTER MACHINABILITY. DIFFERENT TECHNIQUES OF IMPROVEMENT OF THE MACHINABILITY OF STEELS EXIST, AND EACH ONE OF THEM IS INSIDE EFFECTIVE OF A SPECIFIC CONTEXT. THUS, IN STEELS WITHOUT RESPONSIBILITY OF MECHANICAL ACTION, THE MACHINABILTY IS THE MAIN PROPERTY, THEN IT IS USED ELEVATED AMOUNT OF S AND MN SEEKING LARGER FRACTION OF SULFHIDE OF MANGANESE (STEELS). ON THE OTHER HAND, IN STEELS WHERE THE MACHINABILITY IS NOT THE MAIN DEMAND, IT CAN BE USED INSOLUBLE METALLIC PARTICLES IN THE HEAD OFFICE SEEKING MACHINABILITY IMPROVEMENT WITHOUT DAMAGE OF THE MAIN INQUIRY (FOR EXAMPLE: MECHANICAL PROPERTIES). THE EMPLOYMENT OF SUCH PARTICLES IS ALREADY ACQUAINTANCE THERE ARE SOME DECADES, TIME IN WHICH THE USED CUTTING SPEEDS WERE LOWER TO THE CURRENT ONES. HOWEVER, THEY ARE IGNORED LITERATURE DATA REGARDING THE BENEFIT OF THE EMPLOYMENT OF THIS STRATEGY UNDER HIGH CUTTING SPEEDS. THE OBJECTIVE OF THIS WORK CONSISTS OF THE CHARACTERIZATION OF THE INFLUENCE OF THE PRESENCE OF METALLIC PARTICLES OF BISMUTH IN THE MACHINABILITY OF STEELS UNDER HIGH CONDITIONS OF CUTTING SPEED. IT IS STILL COMES A BIBLIOGRAPHICAL REVISION REGARDING THE SOLICITATIONS OF THE MATERIAL (UNDER MACHINING CONDITIONS), APPROACHES OF MACHINABILITY EVALUATION, MICROSTRUCTURALS FACTORS THAT AFFECT THE MACHINABILITY AND THE REFERRING RESULTS TO THE PRESENCE OF METALLIC PARTICLES UNDER HIGH CUTTIG SPEEDS.
KEY WORD: MACHINABILITY, MICROSTRUCTURE, METALIC INCLUSIONS.
