THE BRAZILIAN INDUSTRY MAKES GREAT USE OF FLEXIBLE MATERIAL, IN THE AREA OF FABRICS, PLASTICS, PAPER AND LEATHER. SUCH MATERIALS NEED TO BE PROCESSED QUICKLY, WITH HIGH PRECISION AND QUALITY . IN THE CASE GARMENT INDUSTRY FABRIC IS THE PRINCIPAL MATERIAL. THIS WORK ADDRESSES THE ALGORITHMIC SOLUTION TO PROBLEM OF THE AUTOMATIC GENERATION OF THE CUT TRAJECTORY FOR A CNC MACHINE PROTOTYPE DESTINED TO THE CUT OF FLEXIBLE MATERIALS. IN ADDITION IT ADDRESSES ALGORITHMS FOR EXTRACTING THE TRAJECTORIES FROM A MOLD DRAWING PROVIDED BY CAD FILE. IT WAS NOTICED THAT THE ALGORITHM INITIALLY ADOPTED COULD BE IMPROVED BY OPTIMIZING THE CUT TIME IN TURN INCREASING THE PRODUCTIVITY. IT IS SHOWN THAT THE PROBLEM OF GENERATING A TRAJECTORY FOR AN OPTIMIZED PLANE IN TIME IS THE SAME PROBLEM OF GENERATING EULERIAN CIRCUITS, WHICH CAN BE SOLVED BY ANALOGY WITH THE "CHINESE POSTMAN" PROBLEM.
