ABSTRACT. A DATABASE TO STORAGE STANDARD DIMENSIONS OF PIPES AND ITS ROUGHNESS, DISSIPATIVE TERMS IN VALVES AND OTHERS COMPONENTS AND CHARACTERISTIC AND EFFICIENCY CURVES OF PUMPS, WAS DEVELOPED. THE PROGRAM IDENTIFIES, IN THE DATA FILE, THE NODES AND THE COMPONENTS AMONG THE NODES AS PIPE, VALVE, OTHERS COMPONENTS AND PUMPS. THE PROGRAM LINKED WITH THE DATABASE SELECTS THE VALVES AND PIPES DIMENSIONS AS WELL AS CHARACTERISTIC AND EFFICIENCY CURVES OF THE PUMPS TO PUT TO THE TEST. THE CONSERVATION LAWS OF MASS, ENERGY AND MOMENTUM ARE USED TO COMPOSE, AUTOMATICALLY, THE SYSTEM OF EQUATIONS, WHICH ARE SOLVED BY NEWTON RAPHSON METHOD. THE PROGRAM PUT TO THE TEST SOME CHARACTERISTIC CURVES AND INNER DIAMETER UNTIL THE MINIMUM POWER AND EFFICIENCY IS REACHED.
