ABSTRACT. A SPACECRAFT ATTITUDE CONTROL SIMULATION MUST BE COMPLETED BY A SOURCE EXCITATION ON ITS ANGULAR SENSORS TO CLOSE AND TEST ITS CONTROL LOOP. TO PROVIDE THIS EXCITATION, AN ANGULAR MOTION SIMULATOR IS NECESSARY IN THE LOOP. HOWEVER, THIS DEVICE HAS ITS OWN DYNAMICAL CHARACTERISTICS, WHICH IS UNPREDICTED ON THE ORIGINAL CONTROL PROJECT. IN ORDER TO MINIMIZE THOSE EFFECTS ON THE CONTROLLER OPERATION BAND, A COMPENSATOR MUST BE DESIGNED.
