Resumo: On rapid prototyping the transformation of material is, generally, executed by means of laser or electrical resistance. This type of transformation during the prototyping process also culminates on high cost of prototype and equipments. The aim was, as a result, the use of an alternative material for a process of transformation which doesn't make use of laser nor electrical resistance heating. In this article it is proposed a new prototyping process which aims to the generation of prototypes using an alternative material, which can be molded at room temperature on the generation of prototypes to be utilized on several areas. To do so, a process named Deposition Modeling at Room Temperature (DMRT) is proposed. This article also presents experiments made in order to support the DMRT process through achieving knowledge about its quantitative and preparation's characteristics, its operation and its working parameters, during the prototype generation process.
