MODELAMENTO DE SISTEMAS HÍBRIDOS EÓLICOS/FOTOVOLTAICOS: ESTUDO DE IMPLEMENTAÇÃO EM ÁREAS RURAIS DE BRASIL E CUBA

Resumo :
ABSTRACT. BRAZIL AND CUBA SHARE A COMMON HISTORY OF A SERIOUS PROBLEMS RELATED TO THE ELECTRIFICATION OF THEIR ISOLATED COMMUNITTIES. THE MORE ECONOMIC ALTERNATIVE FOR THE ELECTRIFICATION IS THAT ONE THAT USES THE LOCAL ENERGY FEATURES, SUCH AS THE SOLAR AND WIND ENERGY THROUGH THE PHOTOVOLTAICS PANELS AND THE WIND TURBINES. IT IS MORE AND MORE FREQUENTLY TO MAKE AN INTEGRATED ANALYSIS OF SUCH SYSTEMS, THAT IN THIS FORM RECEIVE THE NAME OF HYBRID SYSTEMS. THEY HAVE DEMONSTRATED A GREAT RELIABILITY AND ECONOMIC ADVANTAGES THAN STAND ALONE SYSTEMS. THIS WORK PRESENTS A METHODOLOGY FOR THE DESIGN OF HYBRID WIND/PHOTOVOLTAIC SYSTEMS, WHICH IS EXEMPLIFIED FOR SOME DEMANDS IN ZONES NOT ELECTRIFIED OF BRAZIL AND CUBA. KEY-WORDS: HYBRID SYSTEMS, STAND ALONE SYSTEMS, WIND AND PV SYSTEMS.
