THERMODYNAMIC ANALYSIS OF AXIAL IMPULSE RE-ENTRY TURBINES
 
Resumo :
THIS WORK PRESENTS A THERMODYNAMIC ANALYSIS OF AXIAL IMPULSE RE-ENTRY TURBINES OF PARTIAL ADMISSION. IT WAS INTENDED TO SELECT AND IMPLEMENT OPTIMIZATION THEORY ALGORITHMS, TO PREDICT THE MACHINERY DESIGN AND OPERATION CHARACTERISTICS, IN ORDER TO OBTAIN THE MAXIMUM EFFICIENCY. NON CONVENTIONAL THERMAL SOURCES WITH LOW TEMPERATURE LEVELS, OPERATING WITH ORGANIC FLUIDS THROUGH A RANKINE CYCLE WERE SOUGHT AS APPLICATION. THE ANALYSIS PRESENTED BETTER RESULTS THAN THE LITERATURE DATA THROUGH THE USE OF THE GRADIENT PROJECTION METHOD.
