ANÁLISE DE ESTACAS SUBMETIDAS A CARGAS HORIZONTAIS VIA COMBINAÇÃO DO MÉTODO DO ELEMENTOS FINITOS COM O MÉTODOS DOS ELEMENTOS DE CONTORNO
 
Resumo :
THIS WORK PRESENTS A MIXED FORMULATION FOR THE ANALYSIS OF THE PILE-SOIL INTERACTION PROBLEM, WITH OR WITHOUT RIGID CAPS, SUBMITTED TO HORIZONTAL LOADS. IN THIS FORMULATION THE PILES ARE MODELED BY FINITE ELEMENT METHOD (FEM) AND THE SOIL IS REPRESENTED BY THE BOUNDARY ELEMENT METHOD (BEM). THE PILES ARE REPRESENTED AS FINITE ELEMENTS WITH 5 NODAL PARAMETERS FOR EACH DIRECTION (X1, X2 ). THE SOIL IS MODELED BY THE BEM AS AN ISOTROPIC, HOMOGENEOUS, SEMI-INFINITE AND LINEAR-ELASTIC CONTINUUM. COMBINING THESE ANALYSIS METHODS A SYSTEM OF EQUATIONS REPRESENTING THE PILE-SOIL INTERACTION PROBLEM CAN BE OBTAINED AND FROM IT THE DISPLACEMENTS AND THE PILE-SOIL CONTACT TRACTIONS CAN BE ACHIEVED. VARIOUS EXAMPLES ARE PRESENTED AND THE RESULTS CLOSELY AGREE WITH OTHERS AUTHORS.
